  25. 1. Start buying and reading Video Toaster User magazine. A glossy
  26. monthly. Later, if you want to get heavier into "tips'n'tricks
  27. from the experts" you can sub to their LightWave Pro newsletter mag
  28. (but it's rather small & expensive... you be the judge if it's
  29. what you'll need)

  31. 2. Watch the LightWave Essentials tape that comes with LightWave.
  32. If you learn from it (and it'd be hard not to), consider buying 
  33. one or more of the other tapes hosted by Lee Stranahan, published
  34. by Desktop Images (they have a two page ad in VTU magazine). Each
  35. tape is 90min-2hr long and packed with quite a lot of useful,
  36. easy-to-follow information. They're well-produced and incredibly
  37. useful for getting yourself up to speed with LightWave's various
  38. functions and features.

  40. 3. Read this newsgroup and ask questions and don't be intimidated
  41. into thinking your questions are "stupid."  No one was born
  42. knowing this stuff.

  44. 4. Subscribe to and read the LightWave mailing list. (Subbing details
  45. are posted here regularly by its listkeeper).

  47. 5. If at all possible as an adjunct to (2) above, apprentice yourself
  48. to someone who knows LightWave, sit next to him, watch what he does
  49. and ask a lot of questions.
